Daily Variety tapped a former longtime L.A. Times editor to be its new editor, the New York Times reports.
Leo Wolinsky left the L.A. Times in 2008 after 31 years at the paper, including stints as executive editor and managing editor and a brief period overseeing entertainment.
He’ll start at the trade in January. New editors are also expected to be named for Variety’s online and weekly editions.
