Biker drama “Sons of Anarchy” will return for a third season on FX, Variety reports.

Ratings soared for the series this past season, with the Tuesday night finale drawing its largest audience ever of 4.3 million viewers. The new season of 13 episodes will launch next September.

Creator Kurt Sutter signed a two-year extension to continue to exec produce and write.
