Guess Which Cable Network Won the Primetime Viewing Race in 2009 (Hint: Not ESPN nor TNT)

Drum roll please. Here are the top 5 viewed cable networks in primetime in 2009, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Coming in at No. 5 was Fox News. Number 4 was TNT. Three was ESPN. In second place was the Disney Channel.

Number one in primetime was NBC Universal’s USA Network. With 3.2 million average viewers, USA was up 15% compared to its primetime numbers in 2008. USA was also No. 1 among all cable networks in primetime among viewers 18 to 49.
