Lakers Star and Former NBA Coach Rejoins ESPN

An ex-NBA head coach and former champion Los Angeles Lakers point guard has rejoined ESPN to provide analysis and commentary on basketball, according to B&C.

Byron Scott, who was recently fired as head coach of the New Orleans Hornets, was with ESPN for the 2003-04 season. According to Norby Williamson, ESPN executive VP of production, "Byron has excelled in every professional endeavor and we know his success will carry over to his on-air role. We welcome him back. His experience and passion for the game will resonate with our fans."
