Lauren Zalaznick, president of NBC Universal’s Women and Lifestyle Entertainment Networks, is in advanced talks to join MTV, reports Deadline Hollywood.

Zalaznick, who now oversees Bravo, Oxygen and iVillage.com, is in talks to become MTV’s entertainment president, overseeing MTV and VH1, a job that went vacant in June when Brian Graden left.

Both MTV and NBC spokespersons said on the record that there was no truth to the report, Variety reports.

Meanwhile, Variety reports that MTV is moving closer to hiring Greenblatt/Janollari partner and WB Entertainment president David Janollari. He’ll be an executive vice president, reporting to MTV programming president Tony DiSanto
