Uri Geller Sues CNN Over Michael Jackson Report

Jan 19, 2010  •  Post A Comment

Spoon-bending mentalist Uri Geller is suing CNN because it reported he betrayed his friend Michael Jackson for $200,000, the New York Post reports.

The lawsuit was filed in Britain, where libel laws are looser than in the U.S.

He claims CNN ran an interview with Jackson’s dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein, and in the interview Klein accused Geller of taking money to talk to Martin Bashir for his 2003 documentary, portions of which aired on ABC’s “Nightline.” Geller denies he was paid.

  1. You’ve got to be joking about THIZ! right?

  2. Why is everyone so sue happy? Everything is about dollar signs. Hasn’t anyone realized that three children are without their father?????
My advise: Everyone stop trashing each other, keep your mouths shut, and put your energy towards trying to help the Jackson family and Michael’s children heal instead of destroying each other, being vengeful, and spitting out hatred for each other.
There is a life that has been lost here and other lives which have to be rebuilt.
So I think it is time for everyone to stop acting like this and start taking the high road instead.
