"American Idol" judge Randy Jackson, the executive producer of MTV’s "America’s Best Dance Crew," and MTV are being sued by Dwight McGhee, who asserts that the idea for the show was his, reports TMZ.com.

In the the lawsuit, filed last week in L.A. County Superior Court, McGhee said he pitched a show called "International Breakerz League" about a dance crew to MTV in 2004. Four years later "ABDC" premiered and McGhee contends it’s too similar to be a coincidence.

McGhee is seeking $2 million in damages.
