The latest in celebrity wives reality shows will be VH1’s "Football Wives," an unscripted series that has been given a commitment for eight 30-minute episodes that will premiere later in 2010.

The show will go behind the scenes into the lives of the women who are married or living with stars from the National Football League. According to a statement from Jeff Olde, executive VP of original programming and production, this show is similar to the current "Basketball Wives."

"[We’re] building on the success of ‘Basketball Wives,’ we want to take a look at the differences and challenges of being the better half of a player in America’s most popular sport," he said.
