Best Buy to Unveil CinemaNow Service, Allowing Customers to Download TV Shows

May 19, 2010  •  Post A Comment

Electronics chain Best Buy will introduce its online service CinemaNow this month, allowing customers to rent, buy and download television shows and movies, reports Reuters

The service will put Best Buy in competition with established media-downloading services, ranging from Apple’s iTunes to Netflix.

The service will be built into television sets and Blu-ray disc players sold at Best Buy’s stores, and will also be included on other devices later this year. The service is also available at www.cinemanow.com.
