Conan O’Brien’s New Studio Will Be — Suprise! — Located at Warner Bros. Lot

May 17, 2010  •  Post A Comment

Conan O’Brien’s new home for his TBS show will be the historic Warner Bros. lot, making a tour of the studio essential for next fall, writes Joe Adalian in New York Magazine’s Vulture blog.

The decision, though, isn’t surprising, given that TBS is owned by Time Warner, which in part owns Warner Bros. The lot is also home to Ellen DeGeneres’ syndicated daytime show and the network’s late-night show from George Lopez.

Nevertheless, since O’Brien will own his new show, he could have picked almost any location for his new studio, and there had been chatter that he might return to his NBC studio on the Universal Lot.

"In the end, choosing Warner’s seemed to be the best solution (and probably made the most financial sense)," Adalian writes.

Thank you ever so much for this information. I’ve been worried sick about where Conan O’Brien will perform his legendary rude interruptions of the funny, interesting stories his hapless guests think they’re gonna get a chance to finish.

  2. My thoughts on the subject are similar, but certainly there will be people who will have a different opinion.

Thank you kindly for sharing your insight on the subject. I’m puzzled as to why you would bother to read the article if you so strongly dislike him… But that is irrelevent, as are people like you who try to trash someone who has the support of the generation that is now.
