CNN announced Wednesday that the rumored pairing of a conservative syndicated columnist and a former New York governor has been confirmed and the two will co-host a new weeknight 8 p.m. ET show that will premiere in the fall.

The show, to be co-hosted by former Gov. Eliot Spitzer and columnist Kathleen Parker, is described as a "spirited nightly roundtable discussion program," according to Jon Klein, president of CNN/U.S.
Parker is a Pulitzer Prize-winning political writer and Spitzer is a well-known prosecutor and liberal governor.

  1. Crossfire returns?

  2. Is Eliot Spitzer, the same one who was caught spending thousands of dollars on prostitutes and ran out of office because of this fact and other facts. Sad move on the part of CNN to reward Spitzer with a prime time slot when he did not respect the people of New York!
