Hulu is near a deal to offer a subscription-television service through Sony’s PlayStation 3 game console, reports Bloomberg News.
Hulu, which is also in discussions with CBS, Viacom and Time Warner to add TV content to the subscription service, wants to reach a bigger audience by placing its service on TV sets, the article says. The PlayStation Network has 50 million registered users worldwide. As previously reported, Hulu is also in negotiations to be included on Microsoft’s Xbox.
