President Barack Obama will appear on the Discovery show "Mythbusters" in a walk-on role later this year, reports the New York Post

Obama will quiz the show’s hosts about the myth that ancient Greek scientists, including Archimedes, set fire to invading Romans by using mirrors to reflect the sun’s rays, the story says.

The appearance is part of a White House science fair promotion, the article adds. Obama has recently been making appearances on networks such as MTV and ESPN, extending presidential visits beyond the news programs where presidents usually appear, the story notes.

  1. Can’t get away from this clown anywhere. What’s next? A very special episode of “COPS”?

  2. Kudos to President Obama. He is using television to reach out to the people of this nation, especially those who would not normally watch a news program or read a newspaper. Appearing on this show can help create an interest in furthering education. Our country lags behind other nations in education, which is an issue that affects innovation and jobs.

  3. Get over it…You lost!

  4. This is the best blog I’ve ever seen in my life! I really appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day to share your this with everyone.
