Homeless Reality Star Couple Say They Are Considering Filing for Bankruptcy After Spending $10 Million

A reality star couple is considering filing for bankruptcy and are homeless after spending $10 million on things like plastic surgery, six cars and private jets, reports Lifesandstylemag.com

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, the former "The Hills" stars, now owe $2 million in taxes, the story says. "We were immature, worrying too much about the famous part instead of the actual business part," Pratt says. "In hindsight, we shouldn’t have spent any of our money. We should have been low-key and saved. We spoke with a bankruptcy attorney and I’ve looked into unemployment checks."

The couple didn’t foresee that "The Hills" wouldn’t be successful four years after its 2006 debut on MTV, the article notes. When the show was cut to 10 episodes from 20, they had already spent money in advance for the last 10 episodes, although they weren’t paid for them. "We thought ‘The Hills’ was going to be like ‘90210’ and we’d have another five to 10 years," Pratt says. "We never saw ‘Jersey Shore’ coming."

  2. Let ’em starve!

  3. Are you kidding? If anyone feels sympathy for these hyper-retards, then the only word for them is stupid.
    Selfish idiots.

  4. Being selfish is less sinful than being insensitive to people with disabilities with the casual abuse of adjectives. Just because Rahm Emmanuel got away with his “retard” remark doesn’t make it cool to use offensive language.

  5. Tee-hee! That’s the funniest story I’ve read all day. Private jets? Seriously? With only $10 million in the bank and no taxes paid? Sorry…”morons” barely begins to describe these nitwits. Man, I feel good about me! 😉

  6. It’s easy to be smug about this story, but how many of you who are calling these people morons have $10,000, $20,000 or more in credit card debt? More than 50% of the country fall into this catagory…they could all be either clasified as morons, or should we put some of the blame on the people who push this debt ridden society. How many pitches do you get per day in your mailbox to order another credit card?
    The whole system is screwed.

  7. Does this mean we finally get to flush these two from the gossip pages? They’ve had the longest, most agonizing and undeserved 15 minutes of fame imaginable. Please let them fade into anonymity and let’s instead encourage the media to shine a spotlight on hard-working American families who have found themselves homeless through no fault of their own.

  8. Hi, I need to ask you a question, how can I ge ta hold of you_

  9. Really they were no bodies and they are still no bodies. But because of all her plastic surgery now they get to file bankrupcy REALLY! That should not be allowed they should have to pay their debits. and no matter what THEY ARE MORONS. Enough of my life spent!

  10. I like this site shown and it has given me some sort of commitment to have success for some reason, so keep up the good work.
