Roger Ailes, the chairman of Fox News, has apologized for called NPR "Nazis," reports EW.com’s Inside TV

"I was of course ad-libbing and should not have chosen that word, but I was angry at the time because of NPR’s willingness to censor Juan Williams for not being liberal enough," Ailes said in his apology.

As previously reported, Ailes during an interview with the Daily Beast’s Howard Kurtz called "Daily Show" host Jon Stewart "crazy."

  1. Can we all just agree to lose the word “Nazi” from our language? People on both sides of the political aisle use it, and each ends up looking like a freakin’ idiot for doing so. Apologies ring hollow. How about simply disagreeing with an opponent, saying so, and moving on? Think with your brain, not your emotions, and no one gets hurt.

  2. Ailes forgets Nazis were right-wing. I agree with Chopped Liver. Can we stop using “awesome” while we’re at it too?

  3. well done!nice job!
