If you love finding out about and downloading new apps for your smartphone, then a new syndicated program is targeted to you, reports Mediaweek’s Anthony Crupi.
The nationally syndicated show, from the creators behind TV staples "A Current Affair" and "Hard Copy" and mobile-video pioneer Frank Chindamo, is a weekly 30-minute program similar to G4’s "Attack of the Show," the story notes. Called "The Mo Show," the program will try to reach adults 21 to 55 years old who are high-end consumers.
The program will give viewers recommendations on apps in different categories, such as sports or entertainment.
As of last fall, there were more than 300,000 third-party apps available at Apple’s iTunes store, the article points out.
