Actor Nicolas Cage will not be charged with a crime in connection with a drunken argument with his wife last month in New Orleans, according to TMZ.com.

The D.A.’s office said it has decided it does not have enough evidence to proceed with the case, according to the report. Cage was accused of “grabbing his wife in a violent manner and disturbing the peace during a booze-fueled bender,” the story reports.
