With deals in the nation’s top three markets yet another talk show has been given the green light to debut in September 2012.

Reads the announcement, "Twentieth Television, Inc. today announced that ‘The Ricki Lake Show,’ the new syndicated talk show hosted by Ricki Lake, has been sold to the Fox Television Stations and Tribune broadcasting stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Dallas. Now cleared in over 50% of the country, ‘The Ricki Lake Show’ is also sold to Sinclair, Local TV, Post Newsweek, Fisher, Granite, New Vision, Journal, Citadel, Quincy and Gray stations. Set to premiere in September 2012, ‘The Ricki Lake Show’ brings America’s girlfriend back to TV."

The Twentieth Television announcement continues, "Covering topics that interest the 25-54 year old woman, this is a new Ricki – reflecting where she and her audience are now in their lives. Fresh, fun, interesting talk that will cover subjects that range from parenting, weight loss, losing love and finding it again. Ricki is not an expert. She’s not a doctor, therapist or a super homemaker – she’s a working mom trying to figure life out, and inviting her audience along for the ride."

  1. Well this is pretty intriguing news. I used to watch her show all the time back in the day, so it should be rather interesting to see how she has evolved. I’ll check out the first few episodes and see how it goes from there. 🙂
