CNN’s morning show "New Day" ended a week of high-profile interviews with Chris Cuomo interviewing President Barack Obama, but the sitdown failed to translate into big ratings, reports TVNewser.com.

The CNN show was third in total viewers (280,000) and in the 25-54 demographic (91,000), the story reports.

Still, the show beat its performance from a week earlier, the report adds. "Compared to the same day last week, ‘New Day’ was up +9% in Total Viewers and down -11% in A25-54 viewers on Friday. Ratings peaked during the 8am ET hour, when the largest chunk of the interview aired, with 323,000 Total Viewers and 101,000 A25-54 viewers," the story notes.

Other big interviews for the show during the week included Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Prince William.
