The long-running show "Cops" is about to roll out its 26th season on television after moving to a new home on cable. The show’s Spike TV premiere is set for Saturday, Sept. 14.
The series bowed in March 1989 and has aired more than 900 episodes, tracking law-enforcement activities in 140 U.S. cities and in Hong Kong, London and the former Soviet Union.
On tap for the Spike premiere are ride-alongs in Stockton, Calif., Sarasota County, Fla., and Amarillo, Texas.
