Donald Trump has some words of wisdom for Miley Cyrus, who has received a torrent of backlash over her sexually charged, twerk-filled performance at the MTV Video Music Awards.

"Miley, don’t let them get you down. They’re all jealous," Trump told her in a Vine video posted Thursday, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Cyrus is staying at one of Trump’s hotels, according to text that accompanies the Vine video.

As previously reported, Cyrus’ performance drew a rebuke from the Parents Television Council, whose advisory board includes her father, Billy Ray Cyrus. Still, Billy Ray Cyrus has tweeted supportive messages about his daughter’s performance, according to Buzzworthy.
