The founder of the racy "Girls Gone Wild" video franchise received a jail sentence today in connection with an incident that took place at his Hollywood home in 2011. TMZ.com reports that Joe Francis was ordered to serve at least 270 days for attacking a woman at the mansion.

"According to our count, Joe has been ordered to serve at least 270 days in county jail," TMZ reports. "He’s also been sentenced to 36 months probation and has been ordered to complete a Level 3 Anger Management course.

"He’s also been ordered to complete 1 year of psychological counseling at a rate of 1 session per week."

Francis had demanded a retrial after being convicted on five charges — assault, three counts of false imprisonment and one count of dissuading a witness from reporting, TMZ says. But the retrial request was shot down during today’s court proceedings.

"Three women had accused Joe of taking them to his Hollywood home — following a night out — and refusing to let them leave," the TMZ report notes. "He was also accused of attacking one of the women, choke-slamming her head into his tile floor."

The report adds: "During the sentencing, the judge expressed serious concerns with Joe’s explosive temper — and warned that it could get him in trouble in the future unless he learns how to keep his cool."
