As part of its plan to grow a slate of alternative programming, Syfy is developing a new unscripted series. Deadline.com reports that the new project is a competition reality series focusing on costume design.

Called "Camera Ready," the project spotlights 10 costume designers who work on challenges related to film, TV and music videos. Their costumes, which will include non-traditional materials such as fiber optics, will be judged by a panel that includes Oscar-winning costume designers, the story adds.

The show comes from Mission Control Media, which also produces Syfy’s prosthetic makeup competition "Face Off."
