CBS is reinventing its Saturday morning programming, rolling out a lineup of new shows accompanied by a catchy tagline: "The CBS Dream Team, It’s Epic!"

The new lineup consists of six all-new half-hour FCC Educational/Informational-compliant programs aimed at viewers age 13 to 16, the network announced. The block launches on CBS Sept. 28.

The new shows are "Lucky Dog," "Dr. Chris Pet Vet," "Recipe Rehab," "Jamie Oliver’s 15 Minute Meals," "All In with Laila Ali" and "Game Changers with Kevin Frazier."

  1. I miss cartoons for entertainment of kids on Saturday morning; I guess that’s what cable channels and DVDs are for now…

  2. I grew up watching Warner Brothers cartoons on Saturday & Sunday mornings, and I turned out fine; I work in radio!

  3. Seriously, would electing a different President or overhauling Congress in favor of the other party have led to a repeal of E/I rules?

  4. In a word, NO. No President or sane member of Congress is gong to try and repeal the E/I rules because it gives their opponents a lot of political ammo. IMO, this just drives more kids to the PBSKids program block and Qubo for the cities that have the full ION channel selection.
