John Oliver, who just wrapped a stint on Comedy Central as Jon Stewart’s summer replacement on “The Daily Show,” has a gig lined up in prime time. TheWrap.com reports that Oliver will reprise his role as Professor Ian Duncan on “Community.”

Oliver will appear in at least six episodes of the NBC comedy.

“The British comedian has played the role on both Season 1 and Season 2,” the story says. “Ian Duncan is an old client-turned-friend of Jeff’s (Joel McHale) from his previous career as an attorney. At Greendale Community College, Ian teaches psychology.”

Walton Goggins (“Justified”), Jonathan Banks (“Breaking Bad”) and Rob Corddry (“Childrens Hospital”) will also appear in the upcoming season.

“Showrunner and creator Dan Harmon returned for the season after being fired before Season 4,” the story notes. “He will be joined by returning writer/executive producer Chris McKenna.”
