‘Friends’ Star Targeted by Unpleasant New York Graffiti

A former star of the hit NBC sitcom "Friends" apparently has ticked off some New Yorkers, with anti-"Friends" graffiti appearing near actor David Schwimmer’s new mansion, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Construction on the home is reportedly almost finished.

One graffiti message reads, "Ross is not cool." The graffiti may be related to Schwimmer’s decision to demolish a historic townhouse in 2011 to make room for his new mansion, the story says. He bought the property in 2010 for $4.1 million.

When the house was torn down in 2011, other angry messages appeared, the story notes. One such message reportedly read: "The destruction of an irreplaceable historic building for what??? Another ugly yuppie ghetto catering to monied transients + Euro-Trash!!"
