"Community" actor Donald Glover posted a series of what was described as "odd and slightly troubling Instagram photos" in a report by TheWrap.com.

The messages in the photos, written entirely on Marriott stationery, talk about why the actor is leaving the NBC show and delve into his fears, masturbation fantasies and other highly personal thoughts.

"I didn’t leave ‘Community’ to rap. I don’t wanna rap. I wanted to be on my own,” Glover says in the messages, posted Monday. He reportedly sent out a total of seven messages.

The 30-year-old actor expresses a number of fears in the notes, including fears about how other people perceive him.

“I’m afraid my show will fail,” he writes, referring to the FX show "Atlanta." "I’m afraid Dan Harmon hates me," he adds, referring to the creator of "Community."

Glover scaled back his work on the NBC sitcom to appear in five of the show’s 13 episodes during the upcoming fifth season, the report notes. In one of the Instagram notes he says "I’m afraid I’ll regret this," possibly a reference to his move away from the show and his new focus on music — although it could also be interpreted as a reference to his Instagram confessions.

"His next album under his stage name of Childish Gambino, ‘Because the Internet,’ is scheduled to be released in late December, though Glover noted that there was significant resistance from his record label about the timing," TheWrap reports, citing an Instagram message saying: “The label doesn’t want me to release in December cause it’s not a holiday record and I’m not a big artist.”

In what the report calls "a crack in at another actor-musician who apparently represents everything that Glover does not want his career to be," Glover adds: “I’m scared I’ll be Tyrese.”

In one of the messages, Glover writes, "I’m afraid people hate who I really am, I’m afraid I hate who I really am, I’m scared people will find out what I masturbate to." In another note he says, "I’m scared my girl will get pregnant at not the exact time we want," and, "I’m afraid she’s still in love w/that dude."
