Fox Picks Up Comedy for a Full Season

Fox has given a full-season order to a new fall comedy series. TheWrap.com reports that the broadcast network picked up an additional nine episodes of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."

The Andy Samberg comedy will now run for 22 episodes this season.

Additionally, Fox revealed that "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" will join "New Girl" in a special one-hour comedy block that will air right after the Super Bowl, the story adds.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" is averaging a 2.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic, with 4.9 million total viewers, according to Nielsen data for the show’s first five telecasts.
