The eagerly anticipated appearance by rapper Kanye West last night on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" — as the two men sought to put their so-called "rap feud" to rest — appeared to accomplish that goal, at least for now, USA Today reports.
West apparently said much of his anger, which was vented in a flurry of Twitter posts directed at Kimmel, was really aimed at the press in general — at "every person who feels it’s OK to treat celebrities like zoo animals."
And Kimmel noted that West is often misunderstood, saying: "A lot of people think you are a jerk. I often in my own personal conversations say, ‘No. I know this guy. He is not a jerk.’"
