Asked About the Paternity Issue, New MSNBC Host Ronan Farrow Tells THR Reporter: ‘Don’t You Feel Like a Quality Journalist Right Now?’

Even in an interview billed as his first since MSNBC announced he’s getting a show on the cable network, Ronan Farrow sounds as if he’s tired of the paternity questions.

Asked by The Hollywood Reporter’s Marisa Guthrie for a comment on the headlines surrounding his paternity — with rumors that he’s Frank Sinatra’s biological child instead of Woody Allen’s — the son of actress Mia Farrow responded, "Don’t you feel like a quality journalist right now?"

Guthrie writes that Farrow, 25, delivered the line "conspiratorially," and with a laugh.

On the subject of his upcoming MSNBC show, Farrow said he plans to "shake things up" at the cable news network, adding that he has a mandate to provide "a fresh take."

Farrow, a Rhodes scholar who graduated from college at age 15, said he "managed to screw up plenty in life, mind you, but in the things I really cared about — the legal work, or the stories I was telling as a writer, or the office I built in government — I wasn’t left a lot of margin for error. It’s kept me driven."

  1. “Farrow, a Rhodes scholar who graduated from college at age 15…”
Wow. Amazing. I was starting 9th grade when I was 15.
And all anyone cares about is “who’s your daddy?”
    Wow. Not so amazing.
