Bill O’Reilly Says Sarah Palin Also Refuses to Come on His Fox News Show

Nov 22, 2013  •  Post A Comment

Bill O’Reilly said that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who recently backed out of an appearance on NBC’s "Today" show, also won’t come on his Fox News program, TVNewser reports. O’Reilly says Palin "doesn’t want to mix it up,” according to the report.

O’Reilly made the comments on his show in a segment about Palin’s cancellation on “Today” in protest of offensive remarks made by MSNBC host Martin Bashir. As previously reported, Bashir implied in a commentary that Palin deserved to have someone “shit” in her mouth, and later apologized to her.

In a segment when O’Reilly spoke with Fox News media critic Howard Kurtz, the host said, “Sarah Palin won’t do this program. She won’t come on the program because she doesn’t want to mix it up. She doesn’t! She wants to give a speech, and nobody gives speeches here. OK? So she doesn’t come on.”

O’Reilly noted that he asked Palin to appear on his program that night. “We invited her on tonight. You’re here instead,” O’Reilly told Kurtz.

  1. There is one word suitable for Sarah Palin: FORGOTTEN.
    Peter Bright

  2. Your last name is not an indicator of you Peter!

  3. Once a Sarah Palin fan but I’ve grown tired of her antics so “forgotten” would be fine for me too. I noticed when she appears on shows like O’Reilly she would rather ramble her agenda than just answer questions. She’s too much of a typical politician for me–good for rah-rah speeches and not much for anything else

  4. To sum it up Dan, a useless windbag.

  5. O’Reilly’s lost it and is the insignificant one here, drifting ever further left every day.
At this rate he should be moving to CNN shortly.

  6. Why would anyone agree to speak with boring, bumptious, bilious blabbermouth Bill O’Reilly? It’s always all about his fragile ego.

  7. Alright let’s see what kind of comments we’re getting. Liberals who like to remind the right how terrible Palin is and people on the right insulting them.
Par for the course. I’d be surprised if I DIDN’T see this.

  8. This is what I like to read. People (Conservatives) speaking talking points that are all over TV Newser which is why I no longer read it. This has nothing to do with one’s political beliefs. Rather, it has to do with Ms. Palin wish not to be asked questions that she has to think about. She does not want to be held accountable for anything either and this is just my opinion. Talk Points are now over….
