Charlie Sheen backed out of an appearance at the Baja Film Festival, saying his private plane had a "potentially life-threatening" mechanical problem, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Sheen, who stars in FX’s "Anger Management," also declined the film festival’s offer to send a replacement plane, explaining that he will only travel on his own private aircraft, the story adds.
The actor wrote an apology on Twitter, noting, "I will NOT fly my family my friends or myself on any other aircraft. this is a non negotiable rule of mine as it lives in concert with zero wiggle room for maybes or friendly coercion. as I write this my plane is still not launch ready therefore leaving us all with zero options to attend the event on time."
