Video: ‘SNL’ Cast Member Injured in Skit

A "Saturday Night Live" cast member was injured while performing in a skit during last Saturday’s broadcast. The New York Times’ Page Six reports that Bobby Moynihan twisted his ankle doing a spoof of out-of-control Toronto Mayor Rob Ford.

In the skit, which was the show’s cold opening, Moynihan took a fall when he portrayed the mayor, who is under fire for his admitted use of crack. The skit called for Moynihan to throw himself into the crowd at a press conference, resulting in the injury.

Moynihan ended up missing his own movie premiere as he skipped Sunday night’s Cinema Society screening of "Delivery Man," in which he has a role.
