‘SNL’ Promos: Are They Now More Entertaining Than the Show Itself? Here’s the Latest, Featuring Jimmy Fallon

Keeping with the recent tradition of outtake-style promos for NBC’s "Saturday Night Live," Jimmy Fallon, who is hosting the upcoming show (with musical guest Justin Timberlake), banged out a series of the always entertaining clips.

  1. Wow? Who at TVweek thought any part of this was “entertaining”??? I want my 3 minutes and 17 seconds back. Not one was funny… seriously.

  2. C’mon. You had to at least like seeing Kate McKinnon. When all is said and done I think she will be as big as Kristen Wiig. She and the new gal who played Lena Dunham in the Girls spoof (Noel Wells) need more screen time.

  3. Finally – truth in advertising! This promo shows exactly what to expect. Nothing funny, nothing original, no beginning, middle and certainly no end to any skit. No real personality from performers (think Chevy or Gilda) and in a couple of minutes you are able to avoid wasting your Saturday night. Maybe this is a PSA not a promo!
