A deal to bring a high-profile actress back to series TV reportedly fell apart when the actress pulled out at the last moment. Writing on Deadline.com, Nellie Andreeva reports that the TNT pilot “Guilt by Association” was seconds from closing an agreement with former “Party of Five” actress Neve Campbell when she pulled out of the deal.

“I hear she had a change of heart, feeling she wasn’t ready to jump back into series TV,” Andreeva writes. Campbell has starred in movies including “The Craft” and “Scream.”

“Guilt by Association,” based on a book by former prosecutor Marcia Clark, centers on Rachel Knight, a deputy district attorney in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, the story notes.
