The NBC sitcom “Parks and Recreation” will feature a high-profile guest appearance during its season finale. The Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker reports that the hour-long finale will include a visit from first lady Michelle Obama.
The episode, “Moving Up,” is slated to air April 24 at 8 p.m. ET. The program was filmed in Miami, where Michelle Obama was recently working on her “Let’s Move” initiative to fight childhood obesity.
“The first lady joins a growing list of real-world politicians crossing paths with dedicated public servant Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler)," the story notes. "Others have included Vice President Joe Biden, Arizona Sen. John McCain, California Sen. Barbara Boxer and former Maine Sen. Olympia Snowe."
