A&E has pulled a show off the air after its viewership numbers plummeted. Deadline.com reports that the cable channel pulled the new drama series “Those Who Kill” and plans to give the show another chance by relaunching it later.

The series, which stars Chloe Sevigny, was pulled after two episodes. The show aired in the Monday 10 p.m. time slot, after “Bates Motel,” but held onto less than half of the lead-in from the “Psycho” prequel, the story notes.

The show’s first episode drew 1.4 million viewers, while the second episode dropped to 830,000 viewers. A&E will likely give the entire 10-episode season another shot at another time, the story adds.
