The CW has taken the wraps off its summer schedule, as the broadcast channel continues its move into more year-round programming, The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports.
“Beauty and the Beast,” which has been off the schedule since early March, will return June 2 at 9 p.m., and will air its final second-season episodes.
Other programs include “Whose Line Is it Anyway?,” which will lead into “Beauty,” and and the 12-week reality docuseries “Famous in 12,” which will debut June 3.
The first original series from digital studio CW Seed, “Backpackers,” will debut July 14, while the half-hour comedy “Seed” will also debut that night. “Backpackers” is about two friends traveling across Europe in search of a missing fiancee, while “Seed” is about a bartender who is also a sperm donor.
Unscripted shows include “Penn & Teller: Fool Us,” which will debut July 30, and “Masters of Illusion,” which is hosted by Dean Cain and will debut Aug. 1.
