VH1 has pulled the plug on a series that first premiered back in 2004. Deadline.com reports that the cable channel canceled “Best Week Ever,” a weekly commentary on pop culture.
When the show started it was a pioneer in delivering comedy and tongue-in-cheek opinions, the network said in a statement. “The series also served as a national launching pad for many talented creatives and comedians. We thank them, and the viewers who tuned in each week,” VH1 said.
The show has been canceled before: It was pushed off the network in 2010 before being brought back in 2013.
Comedians who have appeared on the show include Patton Oswalt, Nick Kroll and Rachael Harris, as well as “Big Bang Theory” actress Melissa Rauch and Judah Friedlander.
