“Dexter” star Michael C. Hall is sounding off about the how the Showtime drama series ended, and he's apparently not a fan of the finale, according to an interview with the Daily Beast. (Please stop reading here if you're still waiting to watch the "Dexter" finale because the report contains a spoiler.)
“Liked it? I don’t think I even watched it,” Hall said of the finale, which showed his serial-killer character living as a lumberjack. “I thought it was narratively satisfying—but it was not so savory.”
The series wrapped in September 2013 after eight seasons on Showtime.
Hall added, “I think the show had lost a certain amount of torque. Just inherently because of how long we’d done it, because of the storytelling capital we’d spent, because our writers may have been gassed.”
