Amazon on Wednesday began streaming an initial group of HBO shows through its Prime Instant Video service, reports B&C.
The arrival of the HBO shows comes about a month after Amazon and the pay-TV network announced a licensing deal.
The agreement means Amazon Prime members can watch seasons of older HBO shows, such as “Rome,” “The Sopranos,” “The Wire,” “Deadwood” and “Six Feet Under.” The deal also includes newer shows such as “Enlightened” and some “select seasons” of current shows such as “True Blood” and “Boardwalk Empire.”
