HBO has signed “True Blood” actors Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer to a two-year, first-look deal to develop series, films and miniseries, reports Deadline.com.
The couple’s production company CASM may also work on new starring vehicles for the actors, whose long-running vampire drama will end this summer. The deal includes options for the pair to direct, as well as act.
“This marks the first foray into television for CASM Films, which Paquin and Moyer launched in 2012 with producing partners Cerise Hallam Larkin and Mark Larkin, who, like the ‘True Blood’ duo, are a married couple,” the story notes.
Their company has focused on movies until this point, such as the 2013 film “Free Ride,” the piece notes.
