It's not exactly good news for critics of the Fox News Channel, but reigning cable news ratings king Bill O'Reilly has gone down. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that fellow FNC anchor Megyn Kelly came out on top of O'Reilly in the ratings last week.

The win for Kelly was a first since her show debuted in October, the report notes.

Kelly’s 9 p.m. broadcast beat out all other telecasts in the 25-54 demographic for the week, averaging 413,000 viewers in the key news demo, the story says. That topped “The O’Reilly Factor,” which drew 402,000 viewers in the demographic last week.

The piece notes that “The Kelly File” did beat O’Reilly's show in May, but at that time, “The O’Reilly Factor” had a substitute and O’Reilly wasn’t hosting.

“Kelly devoted much coverage to the freeing of P.O.W. Bowe Bergdahl. The anchor had an exclusive sit-down with six former members of his platoon. That episode brought a year-to-date best of 469,000 adults 25-54 and nearly 3 million viewers,” the article notes.
