The family feud gripping relatives of Casey Kasem continues to generate drama, with the latest escapade involving Kasem's wife, Jean, and some hamburger meat, E! News reports.

"After a judge granted the radio icon's daughter, Kerri Kasem, daily visitation rights on Friday, Kasem's wife, Jean, seemingly opted to protest the ruling by throwing a pound of raw hamburger meat at Kerri when she arrived at the Washington residence where her father has been staying on Sunday," the story reports.

Citing a report by NBC News, the story adds: "Kerri arrived with an ambulance to take Casey to the hospital, although the paramedics were not allowed inside the home. Moments later, a call was placed to 911 from inside the home, at which point a second ambulance and a fire truck arrived. After the fire truck was called away to another emergency, Jean exited her home and threw the hamburger meat at Kerri before the paramedics were finally allowed inside."

Jean Kasem later could be heard calling Kerri an "intrusive psycho" as Casey Kasem was being taken away, the report adds.

Jean Kasem later told NBC News: "In the name of King David, I threw a piece of raw meat into the street in exchange for my husband to the wild rabid dogs."

The E! report adds: "Kerri and her stepmother are currently involved in a dispute as to whether the former 'Top 40' host is receiving adequate medical care.

"Kasem's stepdaughter was actually appointed to be her father's temporary caretaker during a hearing last month after filing a missing persons report to locate her father and an attorney for her stepmother admitted to having 'no idea' where his client's husband was. However, up until Sunday, Kasem was still believed to be under the care of his wife at a family friend's home in Washington."

Kerri was granted permission last week to visit her father for one hour per day, and was allowed to bring along an investigator or off-duty police officer for protection, the report notes.

"Casey's wife was given legal power to make medical decisions for him in 2011, saying then she had no desire to obtain conservatorship of her husband, who suffers from Lewy body disease, a form of dementia, unless a court ruled he needed protection," E! notes. "His daughter Kerri was denied conservatorship of her father in November 2013, with a judge saying he was getting 'good to excellent care' at home with Jean."
