Film and TV studio Miramax today announced the appointment of a vice president for television. The newly created position has been filled by Daniel Pipski.

"Reporting to Miramax EVP, Production and Development, Zanne Devine, Pipski is responsible for generating original series as well as series concepts derived from the Miramax library. Working closely with Devine, Pipski will drive series development and production, as well as third party television projects," the company said in its announcement.

Said Devine: “We are very happy to have Daniel on board with his experience, great taste and excellent talent relationships. There are amazing opportunities in television right now and Daniel will be essential in establishing Miramax’s position during this exciting time.”
