Netflix’s “Orange Is the New Black” is adding an Oscar-winning actress to the lineup. TheWrap.com reports that the third season of the show will include Mary Steenburgen.
Steenburgen broke the news on Twitter on Friday, writing, “Very excited to go to my first wardrobe fitting of OITNB! Will I be in orange or black?:)”
The second season of the prison drama debuted earlier this month on Netflix, and the series was given a third season in May. It’s not clear which character the actress will play, or how many episodes she will be in. Steenburgen won an Oscar in 1981 for her role in “Melvin and Howard."
