“Power” executive producer David Knoller has signed a two-year overall deal with Starz, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Knoller will produce, write and direct, as well as develop new projects for Starz, under the pact. He’s joining the drama project “Blackbirds” as executive producer and will work on “Power” for its second season.

“David is one of those rare people who is able to make everything he's involved in better. As a producer and creator we believe in David's ability and look forward to our continued relationship,” said Carmi Zlotnik, managing director of Starz.

“Blackbirds” is adapted from Chuck Wendig’s novel about a woman named Miriam Black who can see how and when people die if she touches them.
