CBS eked out a narrow win over its broadcast competition in Sunday prime time, based on Nielsen overnights for the key 18-49 demo, as two of its series defied an overall downtrend among the broadcast networks.

TVbytheNumbers.com reports that CBS's "Unforgettable" and "Reckless" both improved on their numbers from a week ago. "Unforgettable" ticked up 11% to a 1.0 average in 18-49, while the network's new crime drama "Reckless" surged 20% to a 0.6. "Big Brother" was off 5% but was easily the top show on broadcast prime Sunday night with a 2.1.

Fox and NBC aired all-repeat lineups in prime time, with Fox coming in a close second for the night as a whole in the 18-49 demo while NBC placed fourth. Third-place ABC aired a mix of repeats and originals.

ABC's "Wipeout" plunged 29% from last week to a 1.0, and its "Rising Star" set a series low with a 1.0, down 23% from a week ago.

For prime time overall, CBS's 1.1 average led the way in viewers 18-49, ahead of Fox (1.0 average), ABC (0.9), NBC (0.8) and Univision (0.6). CBS was well ahead in total viewers, averaging 6.1 million to lead ABC (4.1 million), NBC (2.9 million), Fox (2.2 million) and Univision (1.9 million).
