A cable drama series got the good news Thursday at Comic-Con that it will be back for another season. Variety reports that MTV will bring back “Teen Wolf” for season five, with exec producer Jeff Davis making the announcement.

“Season five will be a two-parter and last 20 episodes, an upgrade from the usual 12,” the story reports. “Also announced was that newcomer Dylan Sprayberry, who plays werewolf Liam, has been upped to a series regular.”

Season four of the show is currently running on MTV and is one of the cable channel’s top shows, the piece reports, noting that its season premiere June 23 delivered 2.2 million viewers.

“The show stars Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Hoechlin and Holland Roden. ‘Teen Wolf’ was developed by Davis,” the report adds. “Russell Mulcahy, Marty Adelstein, Rene Echevarria, Tony DiSanto, Liz Gateley and Ian Stoke also executive produce.”
