An “American Idol” alum voluntarily checked into an inpatient psychiatric facility after leaving what The Hollywood Reporter calls a “disturbing suicide note on Facebook.”
The THR article reports that Josh Gracin said in a statement he’s taking responsibility and getting help.
“I want to thank you all for your prayers and support. I take responsibility for my actions and apologize dearly for what I have put my family through. With the help of my family and friends, I am getting help,” Gracin said. “Again, thank you for your love, and I will see you very soon.”
Gracin, who finished in fourth place in the 2003 cycle of the Fox reality show, wrote on Facebook, “Please remember me as someone who gave his all in music. … Pray for my family as they carry on in this world without me. Goodbye.”
